Story
Thanks for taking the time read and donate.
There is currently no cure for Alzheimer's. This is a fact I did not stumble across on the Internet. This is something I know, because my good friend, Chris Hardy’s Grandfather passed away late 2011 after suffering from Alzheimer’s for nearly a decade. Through this tragic circumstance we came to know of The Alzheimer’s Society, who helped to make the last 5 years of his grandfathers life easier and provided support for friends and family, who is dedicated to defeating dementia through research. They fund research into the cause, care and prevention of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, to improve treatment for people suffering, and search for a cure.
I, Jonathan Aldridge, together with good friend and fellow cyclist enthusiast Chris Hardy want to do our part for this worthwhile charity. We are planning on putting our strength and endurance to the test by cycling from literally our front door step in Old Coulsdon, Surrey to Monza, Italy in 9 days.
Lets make a difference.
